2020 Post Season / Advancement Tournament.

Waitakere City FC is excited to host all 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade teams, participating in our annual Advancement Tournament. As its coming to the end of the season and looking forward to next year in a higher age group, this tournament will be a great oportunity for teams to play using next years rules, team size and field size.

This years event will be held over the one weekend.

9th and 10th grade teams will compete on Saturday October 17th.

11th and 12th grade teams will compete on Sunday October 18th. 

All games will be held at Fred Taylor Park, Whenuapai, Auckland.

We will have our Club tuckshop and kitchen open all day for all your refreshments and yummy food while your here.

The tournament is designed to introduce all the players to the formations, size and rules of the preceeding year. This allows everyone to get a head start on what to expect and hopefully an advantage over ather teams when the season starts back in 2021. This has really assisted the players that have attended in previos years.

Tournament entry fee is $150 per team for all age groups and must be paid by Saturday, Oct 3rd into the following Waitakere City FC club account: 02-0152-0627902-005. Please add the following details (substituting italics with your details) to the payment so we can link it back to your entry form:

Covid 19 Response.

We have taken all nessacery steps to abide by regulations and will have all precautions taken to mitigate any concerns with Covid-19. All attendees must sign in to the park using the government tracing app QR codes and we ask if anyone is uwell on the day of the tournament or the week prior they stay home and stay safe. Please feel free to wear a face mask while not playing or just watching.

This is a great introduction to 2021 and a fun way to say good bye to 2020. Hope to see you along to Fred Taylor.
